Can you believe this mess?

My niece come up to me and says that my scale is broke because when she gets on the scale it says she weighs 125 and she supposed to be 135. I explained to her that the scale is accurate because every time I or my daughter goes to the doctors office their scales are right in line with mines.

Now she has 2 kids, one in kindergarten and the other is 1 years old and she is complaining that she should be bigger?? She is only 5'1, so 125 is perfect for her. That just bothers me how people complain when they are clearly on the normal end, and I'm trying to get their...smh

Ha! If I found a scale that said I was 10 pounds less than I thought I was, I sure wouldn't complain!

Sometimes people make sideways remarks to make other people jealous or to brag on their status.

She may be doing all those things listed above but I've learned that no matter what size a woman is they are rarely happy with their bodies. You and I would thinks she's small and should be happy about that but maybe she doesn't want to be that skinny? Maybe she's not happy being small? Who knows. Girls are always so hard on themselves.

Have a great Wednesday too! Sorry you're hungry all the time, I'm pretty much the same..and I'm sick of eating the same food all the time.

Well, tomorrow I go in for an impromptu hiatal hernia repair after ending up in the ER over the weekend because I couldn't get food down and water was moving at a trickle... I've been having these symptoms on and off for a few weeks but Sunday was the worst by far and came with chest pain and trouble breathing. The ER PA thinks it is just esophagitis and that the surgeon and radiologist are wrong. But the bariatric surgeon swears it is a hernia, possibly a sliding one based on my symptoms. So he fit me into his schedule this week to repair it! I hope he's right and this sorts it out. He's going to do a scope afterwards to be sure there is nothing wrong with the esophagus. Here's hoping it all goes well!!

Having gall bladder surgery in a few days and I so hope the recovery is easier than the one from the modified DS! I could use a bit of luck/pep talk for a change. I'm starting to be able to walk around without experiencing dizziness, but it would be great if the random pain in my chest and abdomen would go away!!
