Sorry guys, I love my 99 Silverado, never getting rid of it. It is a farm truck, scratched and dinged, but I have had it for 15 years. Even skinny I will love it. Never broken down, and keeps on going....

Nothing wrong with that at all.

I can't see getting rid of my current truck at all. I may very well add another vehicle.....but my old little truck is hanging around. I've been places in that truck during hunts that my buddies couldn't reach.

Love this topic! I am currently in a Mustang and have gone from 415 lbs to 327. Definitely fitting much better! My gift when I reach goal will be a new car and I'm thinking a 3 series convertible.

Definitely! I sold my Ram and bought a Hummer cause I felt bad ass after losing 70lbs. I got rid of my Chrysler & got a candy apple red IS250. Needed power and speed...and it helps I could actually fit in it!!!!! Lol!!!

I have a 70-80 minute round trip commute to work. Over half the distance is on the interstate.

It's a fairly boring and uneventful drive until I reach the interstate.....where it seems all the NASCAR wannabees and aggressive tractor trailers show up and make it a tense situation.

I"ve found another route that I can take that is almost all back roads with more twists, turns and fun stretches than I could ever hope for. A VW GTI, Miata, Mini Cooper or other would be a heap of fun on this.

Another incentive/reward for living life at goal weight.

I don't know if my taste in vehicles has changed, but I do regret buying my Ford F-150 11 months ago. At the time I was at my heaviest (440). I test drove some cars but I felt really cramped and uncomfortable. A full sized truck was the only vehicle I felt comfortable in. Flash forward several months later on the diet my surgeon put me on to lose weight before surgery, and I was already feeling comfortable driving in rental cars or other people's vehicles.

So we'll see what happens as I lose more weight now post-surgery. I do really much want a Mustang convertible, but up here in upstate NY that's pretty much just a "summer" car.

I also do fly a lot, and I usually ask for the Extra Seat Option when I fly Southwest to make sure that nobody sits next to me. I'm not quite sure I want to give that up as I lose more weight, but I'll be glad to eventually be done with a seat belt extender.

My main ride is a full size SUV (Escalade) which I love, and will continue to drive as I make long road trips and the comfort, ride and handling can't be beat.

However, I've usually had a second "fun" car in the garage (I'm single). I sold my 2006 Corvette about 15 months ago as I wasn't driving it much.

I think a present to myself, upon achieving goal weight, is a new (or at least new to me) Corvette.

I think that I'll be holding off until I reach the goal weight, too, @shriner37

When it occurs......I'll be looking into something fun to drive.

Dangermouse -- at over 400 pounds, I flew for 20 years 100 times a year, always with a seat belt extension.... aaarrrghhh. Now, 100 pounds down, flying next week after no flying for 9 months, fingers crossed that the seatbelt fits without an extension!!!

My everyday driver is a 07 escalade. I drove a 97 tahoe for 10 years and finally traded it off this past January. My fun car is a 65 mustang fastback. I can squeeze in it but just barely. I've decided to get the sleeve and I'm ready for a new journey in life!

Oh man !. Im a gearhead down under and turn green with jealousy when I see the price and availability of muscle cars and sports cars you Americans have. Id def get a big block Eldorado mid 80s or a 64 Bb Vette,or a Tunnel rammed Ftruck or a Tbucket or 67 Camaro. Oh yeah I got sleeved last week. Think I may need to show her this conversation as I reach for the cheque book and importers guide...

I've been on some car lots recently car shopping for a new car for my teenage son.

I can tell you with absolute certainty that I've got an interest in a sporty car for myself once I reach my goal weight.

It'll be a good motivator to keep me pushing in the right direction.

I'm still driving an 03 Venture Granny van! Good news is, the wife has a mustang convertible that she will on rare occasions let me drive. I'm still looking for a big boat of a car from 70's with low miles that will be my last car! Ohhhhh, the wait!

Having gall bladder surgery in a few days and I so hope the recovery is easier than the one from the modified DS! I could use a bit of luck/pep talk for a change. I'm starting to be able to walk around without experiencing dizziness, but it would be great if the random pain in my chest and abdomen would go away!!

      Today was rough...
I've been experiencing a headache all day today that just won't go away. I'm thinking it's now progressing into a migraine. Does anyone else get headaches from taking vitamin B12? I did some research and learned that usually a lack of B12 causes headaches. But I've noticed when I take it, I have reoccurring headaches. 😫
