After successfully negotiating Phase1, and implementing phase 2.... My surgeon said I could start working in pureed meats/veggies in prep for phase 3 this friday.... Woohoo

Who knew that a jar of baby food (phase 2) HAM and sweet potatoes would take 30 minutes to eat, and taste like a FEAST!!

Ick! Glad my post-op plan didn't include baby food! But glad you are doing well and moving onto your next phase. Stick to your plan and you will be eating two to three bites of solid food in no time!

To each their own, I'm glad I researched my mush menu before surgery and avoided baby food jars. But take your time and learn your body's new signals about fullness. Respect the sleeve.

@@mmyers1962 Well, if you get bored of baby food, this site has some great, easy recipes and ideas for the pureed stage. It made my pureed stage pretty tolerable!
