I have never posted in a forum for anything, hope I'm doing this right. I was sleeved on 2/9 and I am down 31 lbs as of 3/2. Walking on the treadmill everyday about 3 miles. Having issues getting to the 80 grams of Protein, and think that this might be the week the rapid losses begin to slow down. This surgery has changed my life, and hopefully prolonged it!!

Glad you are doing well. I need to be on here more often. I'm 9 months out and still struggle with getting enough Protein in.

Congrats! Hubby and I made the decision to this together - I was sleeved in October and he was sleeved in January. He is down 55 and it is such a great experience to be going through together!

So proud of your accomplishments and I have to say that I am training for a half marathon and my hubster is working out every day so he as full rotation for his golf swing.

Be so proud of yourself and your accomplishment. This is a great tool to get your life back. Enjoy the spring and always remember we are all here to support you and each other.

Way to go!

Still purging all of the larger clothing. This morning, a shirt that I ADORED wearing ended up on top. Hard to let it go, but it was also hard to let go of those habits that also no longer serve my highest good. Onward and upward!

Well, tomorrow I go in for an impromptu hiatal hernia repair after ending up in the ER over the weekend because I couldn't get food down and water was moving at a trickle... I've been having these symptoms on and off for a few weeks but Sunday was the worst by far and came with chest pain and trouble breathing. The ER PA thinks it is just esophagitis and that the surgeon and radiologist are wrong. But the bariatric surgeon swears it is a hernia, possibly a sliding one based on my symptoms. So he fit me into his schedule this week to repair it! I hope he's right and this sorts it out. He's going to do a scope afterwards to be sure there is nothing wrong with the esophagus. Here's hoping it all goes well!!
