I don't consider myself "off track" solely by what I'm eating as I'm no longer on a "diet" with those kinds of "rules". I have a Protein, Vitamin and exercise habit that I don't often deviate from, but occasionally I get a little too sloppy and need to re-focus. Off track, for me happens if I creep outside my healthy weight zone of 135-145 pounds. If that happens, I return to logging food and exercise until I'm comfortably back down where I belong, (typically the next week). So far, that's been enough to do the trick.

I completely agree with @bikrchk. This isn't a diet this a way of living for me now. I like that you've given yourself a range. If I deviate from my plan and step on the scale to see I've gone up a couple of lbs. I freak out and beat myself up about it, so I like that you've set yourself a healthy range and once you go over that it's back to basics.

I go back and re-read my nutritionists packet from surgery, then I go and watch some of my OLLLLLD YouTube Videos pre-surgery. It reminds me what I need to be doing and why I'm doing it!

My first step is to start weighing myself daily again. That seems to work best for me.

The next step is to come back to Bariatric Pal and become more active on the site. I usually just read but I will start posting (something that is not easy for me).

Next will be get my food and Water on track.

and last but not least get my exercise in every day (something, anything, just move)

I really didn't think I would be back at the beginning again but here I am. The difference this time is that I know I can do it.

Not certain what "on track" means, but if you mean "making good food choices" then planning and recording my daily menus on www.myfitnesspal.com helps me do that. And if you mean "making good exercise choices" my Fitbit helps me do that.

My local Bariatric support group is great. It was started by a RNY community member, a nut and a shrink.

I also go to BariatricPal,

and try to exercise smarter.

Last time,

I added a yoga class, and

increased my time at the gym.

Then I used a trainer to teach me a basic free-weight routine.

Then I started online trackers and reminder apps.

Have a great Wednesday too! Sorry you're hungry all the time, I'm pretty much the same..and I'm sick of eating the same food all the time.

Well, tomorrow I go in for an impromptu hiatal hernia repair after ending up in the ER over the weekend because I couldn't get food down and water was moving at a trickle... I've been having these symptoms on and off for a few weeks but Sunday was the worst by far and came with chest pain and trouble breathing. The ER PA thinks it is just esophagitis and that the surgeon and radiologist are wrong. But the bariatric surgeon swears it is a hernia, possibly a sliding one based on my symptoms. So he fit me into his schedule this week to repair it! I hope he's right and this sorts it out. He's going to do a scope afterwards to be sure there is nothing wrong with the esophagus. Here's hoping it all goes well!!

Having gall bladder surgery in a few days and I so hope the recovery is easier than the one from the modified DS! I could use a bit of luck/pep talk for a change. I'm starting to be able to walk around without experiencing dizziness, but it would be great if the random pain in my chest and abdomen would go away!!
