    • Every day, and I record (or remember) it as my “official” weight.

    • Every day because it keeps me focused, but I only count it as an “official” weigh-in once a week.

    • Every week, to monitor how I’m doing.

    • Just once a month. I have plenty of other things to worry about besides what the scale says.

    • Not often anymore. I’m at my goal weight or I’ve been losing weight long enough that I know how I’m doing.

Now once a week or once a fortnight. I used to weigh myself every day but I just couldn't keep that up long term. It would have driven me bonkers

Since I have been back on track, every morning. It helps me stay focused. I will move to weekly when I reach goal. If I miss a day, I don't freakout.

I guess I'm weird, but I only weigh myself twice a week. Weighing every day stresses me out.

I must say this so everyone can understand my OCD tendency. I can become so totally obsessed with the scales. I hate them!! I hate to weigh even at the DR's office. I have even cancelled DR'S appointments because I knew they would weigh me!! So for my own sanity I try to weigh 1 time a month. My hubby kept pushing me to weigh. He doesn't realize how it affects me. I have felt that I had gained weight and thought I would stick my head in the sand!! But you know what? I hadn't even gained a pound. I think I should weigh myself only at the DR.'s office. That is my plan for now. Hubby be DAMNED. LOL

Usually twice a day. Morning and night. I know it makes some people crazy, but it makes me feel good to see that weight gone, and it keeps me accountable. I gained 4 lbs after a few days about a month ago, and I feel like I was able to stop, regroup and get focused again before it got too far out of hand.

I am familiar with how the scale fluctuates during different times of the day.

I try to only weigh myself once a week but I really go by the surgeons scales as they where what I was weighed on before I was wheeled in to be operated on and I trust they are accurate. so I only record my weight loss after I have seen the surgeon then it is official

Have a great Wednesday too! Sorry you're hungry all the time, I'm pretty much the same..and I'm sick of eating the same food all the time.

Well, tomorrow I go in for an impromptu hiatal hernia repair after ending up in the ER over the weekend because I couldn't get food down and water was moving at a trickle... I've been having these symptoms on and off for a few weeks but Sunday was the worst by far and came with chest pain and trouble breathing. The ER PA thinks it is just esophagitis and that the surgeon and radiologist are wrong. But the bariatric surgeon swears it is a hernia, possibly a sliding one based on my symptoms. So he fit me into his schedule this week to repair it! I hope he's right and this sorts it out. He's going to do a scope afterwards to be sure there is nothing wrong with the esophagus. Here's hoping it all goes well!!

Having gall bladder surgery in a few days and I so hope the recovery is easier than the one from the modified DS! I could use a bit of luck/pep talk for a change. I'm starting to be able to walk around without experiencing dizziness, but it would be great if the random pain in my chest and abdomen would go away!!
