My first day at home how i did...

29 oz total. 16 oz of that was Protein. The rest was Water, little bit of miso Soup and sf Jello.< /p>

I almost got 25g of protein. Not a lot considering I need 60-90g a day but it's my first day and I refuse to kick my own ass.

How did you guys do?

Just tried to cope. Have never weighed anything or counted calories, Protein, etc. per the doctor's orders. Constantly drank Water, broth and popsicles first few days. Hang in there.

I agree with Linda just do your best! Drink as much as you can and eat slowly. Enjoy the process - you will soon see the amazing results

Good for you.... I'm not counting what I'm eating/drinking. I'm having a hard time consuming more than ice chips (hurts when i eat or drink) so I consider it an achievement that I'm drinking Water.< /p>

      Well, tomorrow I go in for an impromptu hiatal hernia repair after ending up in the ER over the weekend because I couldn't get food down and water was moving at a trickle... I've been having these symptoms on and off for a few weeks but Sunday was the worst by far and came with chest pain and trouble breathing. The ER PA thinks it is just esophagitis and that the surgeon and radiologist are wrong. But the bariatric surgeon swears it is a hernia, possibly a sliding one based on my symptoms. So he fit me into his schedule this week to repair it! I hope he's right and this sorts it out. He's going to do a scope afterwards to be sure there is nothing wrong with the esophagus. Here's hoping it all goes well!!
