Neck lower face lift

Recommended Posts

Hi… Can anyone recommend a great doctor . My surgeons one of the top but my gut is telling me to go to a specialist plastic surgeon that specializes in just face and neck. (Basically your face )I went to one in North Jersey and he recommended liposuctions for my neck considering I'm young. I saw many many plastic surgeons and not one of them thought that Lipo was a good idea considering it's skin not fat!! I also went to seminars and many of the doctors feel lifestyle lift is a big no-no, no wires in-your-facex(please stay far away from life list).so if anyone has a time please let me know of a doctor in the tri-state area.

I don't live in your area, but I have not heard anything good about Lifestyle Lift, either.

I am a nurse. I do private duty nursing for a plastic surgeon in NYC. He is an excellent surgeon and specializes in face and neck lifts. He's really quite meticulous and I have yet to meet anyone that is unhappy with the results. If you would like info I am happy to share privately. He did my Tummy Tuck and breast lift in April after 90 pound loss. I don't have a before pic but will show you the selfies I took last week.

I had a lowerface/neck lift surgery done last year. It's very common for WLS people to need this...The skin is separated from the muscle and pulled back behind the ears where a incision is made in the hairline. Then if needed a small cut is made under the chin so the surgeon can tighten up the muscle that causes the double chin...It's a pretty straight ahead surgery, not a big deal especially if you don't need the lower face just the neck. I had jowls after weight loss so I needed both...I checked into the lifestyle lifts and the mini lifts only to find they were a big waste of money...If you don't mind traveling to San Diego, I have a great surgeon for you, Dr Victor Gutierrez. I flew to SD and was picked up at the airport...

Yes I want to several seminars and although one plastic surgeon didn't mention it as a lifestyle lift he was going to do that to me. It is the worst surgery ,you have to get it redone and the wires often come loose. At one seminar a plastic surgeon went over every surgery possible, he mentioned never ever have "a lifestyle lift"I came on here today because I had nowhere that someone mentioned a doctor in San Diego. I wish I knew how to navigate this website a little better. I will get you the name of the surgeon and the person who told me about it.

After week, I was up going out, going to restaurants and shopping. I had a little yellow around my neck and side of my face and I did look swollen to me, but if you didn't know me, you would not have known I had just had a face/neck lift. I took 2 weeks off from work and I have long hair so I think I hid things pretty well.

The doctor I work with is Dr. Robert Freund. His office is at 103 east end avenue, New York. It is the corner of 87th and East End Avenue. He is a board certified plastic surgeon and really cares about his practice and his work. He does an awesome neck and face lift as well as Tummy Tuck which he did for me. I had a breast lift as well. He has written two books which you can find online.

AzDee - have you ever posted your face before and afters? I went to your surgeon's website and the face before and afters weren't that exciting. The surgeon I had my body work done has lousy pics on his website too...

Dr S does facework and I have seen some amazing results, so not ruling that out. I am much more gunshy about face work though and even considering staying local for it. Just starting my thought process and research... thinking 1-2 years out for facework so just getting educated.

for now I am going to do a face filler/injection.

Dr. G. is going to be doing a upper forehead lift and eyes on me. When I was down there for my lower body lift I met two women who had just had amazing facelifts with him the week before...That's why I said I had a great source for a facelift. My lower face/neck lift that was done the year before (at the other center) it's fine, although Dr G. said the cheeks should have been pulled tighter and the muscles sewn under the neck should have been done better. I have a pretty deep line still from the nose to the mouth which may be helped with a filler...Last year when I went to the Beverly Hills PS, I mentioned to him I had recently had a lower facelift, he was surprised and said, you would never know...I left there wondering was it because such a good job was done, or was it because I still looked like I needed one???? Just yesterday I got a message from a woman who had a facelift with my first surgeon and she was asking me about mine since hers looked so bad, she's only 3 weeks out so hopefully it will get better, her ears are not even and there is extra skin around the ear area...made me thankful for the outcome I did have....The face is one area not to mess around with, that's for sure...

Well, tomorrow I go in for an impromptu hiatal hernia repair after ending up in the ER over the weekend because I couldn't get food down and water was moving at a trickle... I've been having these symptoms on and off for a few weeks but Sunday was the worst by far and came with chest pain and trouble breathing. The ER PA thinks it is just esophagitis and that the surgeon and radiologist are wrong. But the bariatric surgeon swears it is a hernia, possibly a sliding one based on my symptoms. So he fit me into his schedule this week to repair it! I hope he's right and this sorts it out. He's going to do a scope afterwards to be sure there is nothing wrong with the esophagus. Here's hoping it all goes well!!

Having gall bladder surgery in a few days and I so hope the recovery is easier than the one from the modified DS! I could use a bit of luck/pep talk for a change. I'm starting to be able to walk around without experiencing dizziness, but it would be great if the random pain in my chest and abdomen would go away!!
