You know there are dozens of other things you can have...I mostly had Premier Protein chocolate and vanilla. Changed flavors by adding Mio and Dasani drops to the vanilla and PB2 or banana to the chocolate. Also had muscle milk and Syntax nectar (dozen different flavors) Added Unjury Protein cheese powder to tortilla Soup broth, added Unjury unflavored to chicken broth, beef broth and hot and sour broth. I was on liquids 16 days preop and 18 days post and almost never had the same thing any day. You can do this.

Kindle is spot on. Add some variety in the form of different seasoning options. Miso Soup is a nice break from the sweet shakes. It comes in instant powder in the asian section of your grocery store, also served in teriyaki/sushi places.

Yes, the Unjury products are available online. I'm on my 3rd jar and still add the unflavored powder to a lot of stuff to up my Protein intake. I almost forgot I also went through a whole 5 lb bag of Syntrax Matrix vanilla. I added different Water flavor drops to that, too, to change up the flavor.

Well, tomorrow I go in for an impromptu hiatal hernia repair after ending up in the ER over the weekend because I couldn't get food down and water was moving at a trickle... I've been having these symptoms on and off for a few weeks but Sunday was the worst by far and came with chest pain and trouble breathing. The ER PA thinks it is just esophagitis and that the surgeon and radiologist are wrong. But the bariatric surgeon swears it is a hernia, possibly a sliding one based on my symptoms. So he fit me into his schedule this week to repair it! I hope he's right and this sorts it out. He's going to do a scope afterwards to be sure there is nothing wrong with the esophagus. Here's hoping it all goes well!!

Having gall bladder surgery in a few days and I so hope the recovery is easier than the one from the modified DS! I could use a bit of luck/pep talk for a change. I'm starting to be able to walk around without experiencing dizziness, but it would be great if the random pain in my chest and abdomen would go away!!
