How long does it normally take for insurance to approve the surgery after it has been submitted. I have Blue Cross.

I have consistently heard from multiple people that it generally takes three days. My doc office tells me 7-10 days. Haven't submitted yet so I don't know for sure.

Doc's office told me 10 days and it was 3, kind of had them under the gun, when it 10 days was 1 day after the surgery date. :-)
