Hi, is it safe to take appetite suppressants to curb my appetite, now that I'm banded???????

the band should be doing that. you may want to do some reading on how it all works or talk to your doctor.

You need some to learn to let the band work for you if you take mess you won't be able to find your green spot. With the right amt of fill.

I would talk to your surgeon before taking anything like that, whether it's prescription or OTC.

Yes it's called the "lap band"
My appetite is suppressed 24/7 because on the lap band.
Today I had a protein smoothie for breakfast, a Wendy's chili for lunch, and that's it. I really don't feel like eating anymore today. But I know I need to so I will have a protein bar later for a snack.
All because of the band.

Also I see you joined 2 weeks ago. Was that when you had your surgery? Recently?
Why not give the band a chance to do what it was designed to do.

B52 - do you only have 1/2 cup of your smoothie in the AM? and 1/2 cup of chili? I am just curious to your portion sizes. Thanks!

check with your dr before you take anything, just fyi, appetite supressants make some people very depressed (Me !)

have u had any fills in your band yet ? if u need to yake pills for your appetite it sounds like u only just got banded or need another fill. Please call your surgeon and discuss this with them ..
