I've thought about the Lap Band for a couple of years now. At first, I thought of it as something I didn't need, and possibly cheating! After much reflection, realized I was in denial about my entire BMI 46 situation and took action. Other health issues such as severe sleep apnea pushed me to make the decision to get the Lap Band.
