I initially started to eat the triple zero yogurt but really didn't like it afterwards so now I just eat the Chobani and it works very well yes it has some sugar but it also has protein and one fills me up and it's actually a meal. [emoji175]sonkat5355[emoji175]

  5. Hi, 8 months from surgery and 85 lbs down! I'm very happy i chose to do this. I'm 62, 5ft 5 in and was about 277 and now 192 so i have 42 more lbs to reach my goal of 150! I have to admit I love Skinny Popcorn. It has not hurt my weight loss but I feel guilty eating it. Does anyone else eat it? I still eat very little and no other junk food, protein, cheese, meat, yogurt, etc. Hope everyone else is doing well and if you are considering surgery, please just do it!!! hello

I try to get a lot of sleep at night, 8 to 10 hours. I didn't go bavk to work for 8 weeks because I wanted to heal and I don't have a sitting job. I haven't started my vitamins yet but will soon. I'm 9 weeks out. Now that I'm back at work as an art teacher on a cart i feel better but exhausted when bed time comes. I'm taking Vitamin B12 shots too. Good Luck....it takes the bidy a ling time to recuperate!
  7. I think you look fantastic! Don't let him get to you, he is feeling insecure because you are changing! [emoji175]sonkat5355[emoji175]

    My journey so far

Hi, i was sleeved Jan 31, 2017. I feel as you. Total loss 38.4. 14 pre op counted in that . 2 week stall. I eat what i have been told. No more than 600 to 800 cal. I eas told i should be at 900. Trying to eat every 2 to 3 hours. It's got to come off but after surgery i lost more than 1 lb a day. I think our bodys are like "wait a minute you lost alot of weight quickly, so slow down" LOL. Weight loss is a science that our bodies listen to, not us. Lol
  9. Hello, January 31, 2017, down 38.4 including 14 lbs pre-op. One week stall frustrsting. I am not chesting following food rules but may not est enough. I make tuna, pink salmon, chicken, crsbmeat, baby shrimp in a can mixed with mayo or 1 teaspoon coctail sauce (has sugar in it so very little). I eat scrambled, fried, hardboiled eggs, sunflower seeds ( i tolerate 1/4 cup), water, tea, coffee ( does not taste the same). If out salmon, mashed potatoes. Protein shake premade one a day. I will be more active Monday going back to work. It's a journey and not ss easy as some might think but I'm not hungry. Best of luck!
  10. THANK YOU FOR THE REPLY! I AM eating low carb, high protein and drinking water, and tracking every bite, taste and lick. I lost a pound yesterday and today it went up a pound. I think I'm going to weigh on one day a week now. I dont think I'm getting enough calories in. Maybe when i go back to work i will lose more. It is frustrating but as long ad I'm not cheating i have to lose eventually. I have read on these sites how some eat the wrong things, too much, etc and I don't. I have heard of mini stalls and big ones. I will be positive! Maybe my bidy is saying, "wow, 38 pounds in 8 or 9 weeks is alot" and is trying to stop me but eventually i will win!!!😎
  11. Hello, you look great and good for you. I am only 7 weeks out and lost 38 with my pre-diet and after surgery. My surgeon says to count the 14 pounds in the two weeks before because it affects your total weight loss. Last month I lost 12 pounds and it seems slow but it is about a couple of pounds a week which is frustrating to me. I need to eat more they say to lose more like 900 calories a day. In the past 3 weeks I have done more and go back to work Monday. I will walk around my school as the art on a cart art teacher to 24 rooms so I may lose more then. I have rested a lot because I was exhausted at first. I still get days like that. Once I retire in June I will try to go to a swimming pool for water aerobics and swimming. I have a treadmill and have been on 15 minutes at a time. I have to do better. Water will be better on my osteoarthritis. I am hoping to lose at least 10 to 12 pounds a month. I was losing a pound or more in the beginning for the first 3 weeks. My surgeon says you lose slower at my age. I will be 62 in May. Well, everyone keep up the good work.

    Post-Op problems

I brush my teeth alot. Also, buy Listerine strips work real well. [emoji175]sonkat5355[emoji175]
  13. I like colace 2 or 3 at night. Softener, I don't like ducolax it cramps you up. That makes me vomit. My BM are every few days. That's when I see results on the scale. Lol [emoji175]sonkat5355[emoji175]

    10 days post Op!

I could eat at that stage and even now 6 weeks later. Cottage cheese, hard boiled egg pureed with mayo, popsicles, water sipping, shakes sipping, tuna pureed with mayo. Applesauce, yogurt. No more than 1 11/2 ounce or 2 ounces. [emoji175]sonkat5355[emoji175]
