  4. 145 and right on the brink of hitting a milestone of -60 pounds. Just staying the course and hoping to surpass that this week! Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
  5. Sad to say, but it just started happening to me this week. I'm completely freaked out and hope it doesn't get any worse Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
  6. Sorry for the late update but I am now at 145.5 and officially only 15 pounds away from goal. I've started dating again this past week which has been interesting. Definitely need to watch my alcohol intake and make sure I'm getting enough Water. Protein is good, but I also started to see some hair shedding for the first time this week which has freaked me out more than I can even say. Hoping it doesn't get any more dramatic and goes away soon!! Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
  7. I am four months out and have been lucky so far to not lose hair. I did start Biotin and using nioxin shampoo/conditioner starting two weeks before surgery. I'm also super strict about getting in my Protein. Hair loss was actually one of my biggest surgery fears, but so far so good....fingers crossed! Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App

  9. Happy new year! I was sleeved on 9/7/16 so I'm still in the losing phase, but I am 19 pounds from my goal and definitely find this forum uselful as A. I've never actually reached a weight loss goal before and B. As is probably obvious, the maintenance phase which is coming up soon, makes me super nervous. With that said, my stats are currently: Weight: 149 BMI: 28 Goal weight: 130 and 25 BMI Menu/daily food: Premier Protein shake for Breakfast every morning Lunch: tomato/mozzarella salad with individually packed fresh mozzarella or carrot "chips" with hummus Afternoon snack: Quest bar or quest chips dinner is usually something tiny tiny because I go workout after work and don't get home until 8:30-9 and don't like to eat that late Today I am having a weird craving for nachos so I'm going to try making them using quest chips instead of tortillas and see what happens... Alcohol

I was sleeved 9/7 and was a big wine drinker before. I've tried wine at different points in time but have only been able to tolerate a very little bit. Last night I went for happy hour and had my first entire glass. I was definitely tipsy and it was more than enough to satisfy me. I've given myself the guardrail that I won't keep wine in the house and will only have if I go out or it's a special occasion. I felt this was a good compromise for me. 15. I'm three months out and have found when I advance my diet I stall for a week or two as my body adjusts to incorporating new food (liquid to soft foods, soft foods to adding veggies, etc.). I've stayed the course and made sure to follow my plan, but I also have a pair of jeans that are my next size down that are waiting in my closet-when I'm going through a stall I'll try them on every few days, and they always fit a little better. That helps me know everything is still moving in the right direction even though the scale might be stuck (which it is now and has been for the past two weeks ps) Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App

    Social life after sleeve

Agree with everyone-I also got sleeved in September. I'm down 45 pounds total and feel like myself again which is great. I only just recently started going to dinner and things like that. I'm very open so everyone around me knows, so they understand completely. I make sure to take it slow, don't eat and drink at the same time, and I always try to order either off the kids menu or a side (a lot of places do a side of shrimp or salmon or chicken to add to salads and that's usually inexpensive and a smaller portion). Just stick to your plan and don't let all the temptations around you sway you. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App

    Morphine drip?

They gave me the pump but I absolutely didn't want it because the pain meds made me so nauseous. For me, I preferred dealing with the pain. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App

    Impatient

Completely agree-I am three months out today and am -44 pounds-I am in the middle of a stall now and just remind myself everyday about how far I've already come and that this is for life. Sent from my iPhone using the BariatricPal App
