My name is RJ. I am 31 yrs old and divorced since 2012. I work for a software company, and I write in my spare time. I mostly blog. I started blogging in 2011, and have been doing it ever since. It started during a stretch of unemployment, and was initially meant to be a weight loss blog. However, life happened, and my weight loss took a back seat to a divorce, a new job, and a new living status.

I have 2 kids (10 and 3), and I decided to get bariatric surgery so that I could live to see them grow older, and participate with them when they play outside.

I went from 215-385lbs in about 8 years, and I have been miserable ever since.
