I originally had the lap and on January 7 2001 in Toronto at 295 lbs
I had issues, multiple slips, hernias and multiple bands I had the unnamed band, the j and j lap and and finally a privately developed lap and. They all slipped but they worked for me, I still miss my band and restriction. I ended up having over 16 lap band surgeries over the 13+ years I had a lap and
I had a gastric sleeve in 2014 and it’s been moderately successful for me, I have needed help from weight loss drugs and work closely with a weight loss doc still over twenty years later.
