[font=georgia,serif][size=4]My journey started a long long time ago. I am 12 years post RNY and have done VERY VERY well. I haven't experienced any untoward effects as some people do. I started at 366.6lb at 19 years old. At 12mo I was down to 180, at 13 months I had my first reconstruction done. I maintained 165lb for a few years and got married, had a baby and got divorced. After my divorce, I moved back to my home town and went back to school for my RN. By the end of my 2 years of school I was sitting pretty...no, SEXY, at 134.8lb!!! [/size][/font]
[font=georgia,serif][size=4]Life was grand!! I have been working, got remarried and now have another baby! [/size][/font]
[font=georgia,serif][size=4]It was during the 2 years we spent trying to get pregnant that the weight started come...lots of hormone injections, pills, stress... you get it I'm sure.[/size][/font]
[font=georgia,serif][size=4]Fast forward to present day: We have another beautiful baby boy, Abel, who is now 11 months old - and Mom who gained a not-so-lovely 100lb :angry: [/size][/font]
[font=georgia,serif][size=4]I have worked and worked and watched and watched but have only been able to get 40lb of baby off. So, after all my work I went back for my annual with my RNY dr and he did quite the workup. As it turns out, my anastomosis has dilated so nothing really stays in my pouch. Which is all new as I had a workup just a few months before I got pregnant.[/size][/font]
[font=georgia,serif][size=4]So...now I'm scheduled for a Revision RNY May 3rd. Insurance approved with the first request![/size][/font]
[font=georgia,serif][size=4]I have 63 lb to lose and am SO ready to be there again!! [/size][/font]
