I am going on October 7, 2014 to have my lapband revised, cause I have developed a hernia that has slipped my band. I was originally 292 lbs but lost 137 lbs and then got sick with brain cancer and lost about 40 more lbs so I was at 115 lbs. But had looked very sickly, I have since put back on almost 70 lbs. So when I have this revision done I am going to need some help. I am looking to lose maybe 20 to 30 lbs after this revision. I am a 38 yr old female who is married with a wonderful husband and two beautiful children. I am a stay at home mother, and I live in Jeffersonville, Indiana. Thank you April

Hi, I see that you added me as a friend. I am sorry but i just recieved an update from this site in my email address. I do not come on here often because I recently got a revision in 12/2009 for the RNY. The lapband just did not work out for me at all. They could not get my fills right, then my fill was lost i gained instead of losing so revision was the best for me. I am now down by 164lbs and...

Have put on a few pounds since my lapband reposition.It has been difficult and frustrating since my fills are not back up to where they were before.I am getting upset with myself.

I have recently had lapband surgery in June of 2010. I have lost 76 lbs. I went from a size 18 pants down to a 6/8 pant size now. It has been a very long road. My band had slipped about 4 weeks ago. I had to have it repositioned. It was almost like having the surgery all over again. It was a much harder process this time. I had to do the whole liquid and soft diets again. I did not set very well with me the second time. I was not looking forward to having to go through that beginning stages all over again. .

Why is it you join these websites so that you can meet new people and chat about your success . And people look at your page and never post or respond to anything you have to say . So my question is what is sense of these websites then??
